[ Raleigh tilts his head, thinking. Then clears his throat and starts to hum, the beginning of j'ai demandé à la lune by Indochine. When he hits the lyrics, his voice is low and gentle, and the song is pretty. There are in fact a number of consonant sounds in it Mako will probably need practice at, which is the point. ]

He's singing to her, and even if it's to help teach her, it still makes her heart skip a beat and heat rise to her cheeks. She is definitely not focusing on any consonants. When he's done, she falters for a moment, struggling to come up with something to say.]

It's sort of like... he was messing around with the sun, and he got burned. So he asked the moon for help, and the moon laughed at him and said he wasn't in the habit of taking care of people like that. So the guy knows he should bail out, but that whatever he's got going with the sun isn't going to last anyway. It's just for fun.
